No. OwnCart charges 0% commission on orders. You pay a flat ₹10,000 per outlet per year for the Restaurant plan. Payment gateway fees (for example Razorpay) and Meta's WhatsApp message charges are billed separately.

Meta charges per message. Current rates we bill: marketing ₹0.98, utility ₹0.14, authentication ₹0.14. From 1 October 2026 Meta charges ₹0.14 per message. Because the menu opens as a page inside WhatsApp, an order needs only a few messages instead of a long chatbot conversation.

Yes, if you allow it. Online payment and cash on delivery are switched on or off separately per outlet, and you can set a higher minimum order value for cash-on-delivery orders.

The customer says Hi on your WhatsApp number and receives a secure OwnCart link that opens inside WhatsApp. They pick dishes, choose delivery, pickup or dine-in, pay by UPI or card, and the order lands on your live order board. See WhatsApp ordering.

No. Your ordering site works in any mobile browser and inside WhatsApp. Regulars can add it to their home screen as an app (PWA) without the Play Store.

Yes. The Restaurant plan includes a custom domain for your ordering website, for example order.yourrestaurant.com. You can start on a free OwnCart address.

Your digital menu and table QR codes can be live the same day you upload your menu. Online ordering goes live once you connect payments (Razorpay), WhatsApp and, if you use one, your POS.

Yes. OwnCart has two-way sync with both PetPooja and Positeasy: menu sync, order creation in the POS (the KOT prints as usual), order status updates and green bills sent to the guest on WhatsApp. You can also run OwnCart without a POS. See OwnCart × PetPooja and OwnCart × Positeasy.

Yes. Restaurants without a POS can take orders on the OwnCart live order board, print or share GST invoices, and manage menu availability directly in OwnCart.

Yes. Each outlet has its own hours, menu availability, POS connection, payments, delivery settings and order ID prefix, all managed from one admin with staff roles.

You do. Every order saves the customer's phone number, addresses and order history in your OwnCart account. You can segment it, message it on WhatsApp and export it as CSV.

No need. Keep aggregators for new customers who discover you there. Use OwnCart for your regulars, table orders and WhatsApp orders, where paying 25–30% commission makes no sense. See commission-free ordering.
